Meet Columban Missionaries

The Missionary Society of St. Columban involves priests, sisters and lay missionaries whose commitment to God has led us to cross boundaries of culture, language and belief to proclaim the Good News of Jesus in today’s world. We are recruited from and serve in some of the 15 countries where Columban missionaries work.

Through our stories we invite you to learn about our lives, our hopes, our dreams, what keeps us going, the places we work, and the peoples we serve. We are ordinary men and women who, led by God’s grace, have been blessed with extraordinary lives. Ours is a life of mission that dares to reach beyond the limitations of the present, sees the unfinished work of God’s Kingdom, and sets out to follow Christ to the nations. We share with you our missionary motivation for responding to the challenges of the twenty-first century.
