    Columban Schools Journalism Competition 2018

    The Columban missionaries invite young people to enter a journalism competition, an initiative to mark their centenary. Budding journalists aged 15-18 are asked to write an article or make a video report that informs, challenges and raises important issues on the topic: ‘Migrants are our neighbours’.

    All are invited to a day in Liverpool on 24th October to explore responses to Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si’.  Ellen Teague of Columban JPIC and Dominican John O’Connor OP will speak 


    Columbans at Flame 2

    Columban missionaries were out in force last Saturday at the Flame 2 youth event, organised by CYMFED – the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation. More than 8,000 young Catholics packed the Wembley Arena, where Cardinal Luis Tagle, Archbishop of Manila was keynote speaker.
