Interfaith Dialogue in Birmingham
On Thursday 12 January, we – Nathalie Marytsch and Mauricio Silva - attended a lunch-time meeting with Bishop David Urquhart, the Anglican Bishop of Birmingham, and the Director of Interfaith Relations for the Anglican Diocese of Birmingham. The attendees were representatives of various missionary groups, churches and agencies which engage in interfaith work across the city of Birmingham. Of course, we represented Columban Lay Mission.

This reflection by a Filipina lay missionary – Jonah Jane Enterina or ‘JayJay’, who is based in Birmingham - has been written in gratitude to the year that was 2011. “I find the act of looking back very important” she says “for it is an invitation to pause and see how the Lord has blessed us with so many graces that inspire each one of us to go on and persevere in His Call to Mission”.
