Columban J&P worker James Trewby and intern Anna Brown will be playing important roles in making Saturday’s FLAME 2 event successful. James has been involved in planning with CYMFED, the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation, and both he and Anna will be running workshops during the day.

 
There are just a few days left before FLAME 2 – the biggest Catholic Youth Event ever in the UK –  which takes place at Wembley Arena this Saturday,  7 March 2015. More than 10,000 young people from all over the country will be taking part.
With music led by Grammy award winning artist Matt Redman, the day of prayer of prayer, reflection and celebration will include talks by Cardinal Luis Tagle, who has frequently spoken to many thousands at the Los Angeles RE Congress – this is a rare visit to the UK; Baroness Sheila Hollins, past President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and President of the British Medical Association, who specialises in working with young people who are themselves suffering with anxiety, or accompanying friends who are in need; and Father Timothy Radcliffe OP, the inspirational Dominican speaker and writer who was named by young people at Flame 2012 as the speaker with the greatest impact.
David Wells, Director of Adult Formation and Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Plymouth, internationally renowned for his creativity and humour, will be MC this year. Cardinal Vincent Nichols will conclude the day, leading Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
