Columban missionaries internationally have been celebrating and giving thanks for 100 years of participation in God’s mission.

In Britain, we have chosen St. George’s Cathedral in Southwark, London, as the venue for our closing Centenary Mass, which will be followed by refreshments in the Cathedral’s Amigo Hall next door. The Most Rev. Peter Smith, Archbishop of Southwark, will be the main celebrant and 750 – 1000 people are expected to attend.

12.30pm Saturday 30th June
St George’s Cathedral, Lambeth Road, SE1 6HR
(nearest tube is Lambeth North on the Bakerloo Line)

The theme is ‘Sharing Gospel Joy’. Music will be led by Chris Olding of Wheatsheaf Music with musicians and singers assembled from Columban friends. An exhibition of Columban Mission work will be on display.
