Columban Companions in Mission
....a community, together not in space, but in time, sharing a common hope and purpose for the mission of Jesus in the world.
Do you believe in the partnership of prayer and action, and in the power of communal prayer?
Do you sometimes feel anxiety about the troubles in the world?
Would you like more spiritual energy for living your mission of bringing forth God’s kingdom of love and peace within yourself and the world?
Would you like to know more about Columban Missionary endeavours?
Then you could join the Columban Companions in Mission Prayer Network.
Companions are:
- People of any age or circumstance who wish to make a commitment to a time of prayer,
- Using simple Columban resources in their own homes or with others,
- In support of Missionary action in the world.
Though scattered across the country, Companions link with each other through this
shared prayer time and through ‘Companions-
The intention and hope is that the prayer and networking of Companions in Mission supports and enriches both Columban mission and the way each Companion lives, day by day, the unique mission of his or her own life.
