The Columba Community in Bradford is gradually getting established and a lot of good work has already been done. There is a regular Sunday night ecumenical gathering for those interested in Interfaith work. Numbers attending vary from 10 to 20 persons.

We have had quite a number of inset days for teachers for teachers of Catholic schools in the Leeds Diocese on interfaith matters, and the house has been used by others for similar programmes. There have been temporary residents from many denominations staying for short periods and the hope is that others will come.

Over the past three years Fr. Sean in conjunction with the Leeds Diocesan Interfaith Commission and the Bradford Inner task Group - an ecumenical body set up two years ago to work together in facing the challenges of life in Bradford finding ways of bringing people of all Christian denominations together to reflect on the challenge of living in a multifaith/multiracial/ multiethnic world.
