What kind of people join the Columbans?
There are all kinds. They share a common sense of call to leave their own country. They are willing to commit themselves in a new way to the mission of Jesus. Those who feel called to be lay missionaries make a first commitment for three years.
Those who feel called as priests or sisters make a lifelong commitment.
