Pray for the Flood victims
The continuous rains over ten days, with three days of torrential rains, left much of the greater Manila under water, with severe flooding.
Over 80,000 people were reported to be in evacuation centers around Manila, hundreds of thousands in other parts of Luzon. Many lost their homes. Many others had severe damage. Rescue and relief operations have been ongoing since Tuesday, when the severe flooding began.
Storms and flooding have paralysed the Philippine capital Manila and the surrounding area known as Metro Manila, which comprises 17 cities, displacing an increasing number of residents. Please remember these poor people in your prayers today.
